Faith in Action

Be His hands….

God asks us to put our faith in action. This means helping those in need. “They’ll know we are Christians by our love.”

Our outreach team ministers at “Family to Family” once per month. Providing freshly-cooked meals to those without homes, offering a smile, a gentle “Hello, how are you?” and making sure everyone is fed.

Be His feet…

We are asked to give what we have to those in need. If we have 2 coats, give one.

Our monthly “Reach” collection program offers congregants the opportunity to give what we have, to organizations that are helping those in need. From school supplies, to coats, to socks and pet food.

Be the light.

We are told to go forth into the world, serving one another.

We serve our community through use of our space (AA meetings, boy scout meetings), and seeking organizations that make a difference in the world. Through various collections, like United Thank Offering, or taking our A Cappella Compline Service out to the world, we know God uses our talents in various ways to be the light.
