The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew - Saint Paul's Parish Chapter

The Brotherhood Shield

Brotherhood of Saint Andrew Hymn

Jesus calls us over the tumult
Of our life's wild, restless, sea;
Day by day His sweet voice soundeth,
Saying, "Christian, follow Me!"

As of old Saint Andrew heard it
By the Galilean lake,
Turned from home and toil and kindred,
Leaving all for Jesus' sake.

Jesus calls us from the worship
Of the vain world's golden store,
From each idol that would keep us,
Saying, "Christian, love Me more!"

So, like Andrew, may we go forth
Bring others, Christ, to thee.
Send us out, Lord, in thy Spirit,
With thy message, "Come to Me."

Jesus calls us! By Thy mercies,
Savior may we hear Thy call,
Give our hearts to thine obedience,
Serve and love Thee best of all.

Preferred tune:
Episcopal Church Hymnal of 1982 - #549
Words: Cecil Frances Alexander (1818-1895)
Music: Saint Andrew, David Hurd (b.1950)
The fourth verse is peculiar to The Brotherhood
and replaces the original verse.

Our Mission:
The Spread of Christ's Kingdom Among Men and Boys

The Brotherhood of Saint Andrew is a missionary and evangelism ministry of the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion. It is the oldest evangelistic ministry of the Episcopal Church. Our goal is to bring men and boys to Jesus Christ.

Join With Us

We hope you will be led to join with us in bringing men and boys into a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. We believe Salvation can be found only by a public acceptance of Jesus as the Son of God, risen from the dead and Lord in your life; the authority of the Holy Scriptures; the power of the Holy Spirit; the fellowship of believers.

Our Disciplines are, PRAYER, STUDY and SERVICE.
